2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe review

4 / 5

Overview Of Car

The best way to live out your super-spy fantasy is behind the wheel of an Aston Martin, and the Vantage is the least expensive way to do it. Offered as a coupe or convertible, performance from the V8 Vantage’s engine is nothing short of brutish, at 420 or 430 hp; six-speed manual and seven-speed automatic transmissions are offered.

For speed demons, the V12 Vantage has a turbine-smooth 565-hp 5.9-liter V-12 with either a seven-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic handling shifting duties.

Exterior Styling

It was only a matter of time before the E-Class got its Sensual Purity makeover, as the design language looked great on the S-Class and the C-Class. The E-Class was a bit blocky in 2016, showing off body lines that were bold, yet a bit stiff. For 2017, the E-Class gets more curvaceous, with fluted body sides and a fluid tail that give off a serene elegance. You will see similarities to the brand’s other sedans in the grille, lights, and windows, however, added inches throughout the axels give the E-Class more space in length than the 2016 version.

Interior Design

The 2017 E-Class cabin will rival your living room when it comes to comfort and familiarity. Much like its predecessor, the 2017 model is spacious and well-made, however, a modernized dash has an organic design that flows with the contours of nature thanks to wood detailing and an edge-lit ambiance glow. Perhaps one of the biggest changes from 2016 is the addition of a 12.3-inch touchscreen entertainment display that can be combined with another 12.3-inch graphical instrument cluster for a 24.6-inch panoramic screen view that is seemingly suspended mid-air above your dash.
